The Physics Student Learning Lab is designed to provide a learning environment supporting physics and physical science courses. It consists of several PCs, a projectors, and a large digital library of physics and physical science demonstrations.
The facility has Internet access and a number of computer simulations that enable virtual laboratory exercises to be carried out.
The benefits to students include availability of tutors for students who need help in Physics, exposure to state-of-the-art equipment and computer programs and as a supplement to the textbooks which are integrated with the worldwide web.
The benefit to the community, the State of Texas and the nation is an enhanced state of preparedness for the workforce.
This facility is in the process of being upgraded for the start of the Fall 2023 semester.
