Dr. Wang retired in May 2011 after serving 28 years in the department. During his career, Dr. Wang had been involved with research exploring experimental condensed matter physics

While at PVAMU, Dr. Wang had served as Chair, Promotion and Tenure Committee Primary Advisor, Society of Physics Students.
