Custodial Services is responsible for the overall cleanliness of all University Facilities.
University Facilities consists of over 2.4 million square feet and include the main campus located in Prairie View, the College of Nursing in Houston, and the Northwest Center in Houston.
Custodial Services has a cleaning service plan for all restrooms, classrooms, labs, hallways, stairways, and offices throughout the campuses. It is important that Custodial Services be made aware of your department cleaning needs to include but not limited to: floor care, window cleaning, dusting, and vacuuming. Custodial Services will plan and fulfill all needs by scheduling accordingly.
Our normal working hours are 6:00 am to 3:00 pm. Any events or activities after 3:00 pm will be considered overtime. Special events and activities may incur a cost which will be provided prior to services being rendered.
Pest control is a function of the Custodial Services department. All pest control issues should be reported by completing a
