Capital Projects

The Department of Campus Planning and Space Management serves as Prairie View A&M University’s representative on capital projects, providing leadership, vision and professional guidance in the planning, design and construction changes to the campus built environment.

• Minor and Major Capital projects less than $10 million are managed by the Campus Service provider, SSC Service Solutions.
• Major Capital projects exceeding $10 million are managed by the Texas A&M University System Facilities Planning & Construction Office from professional services procurement, through design and construction of the project.
• All Major Capital projects exceeding $4 million are reviewed and coordinated for Policy compliance and inclusion on the System Capital Plan with the Texas A&M University System. All Major Capital projects require a Program of Requirements or Statement of Work per System Policy 51.01 Capital Planning.
