To provide leadership and services that strengthens accountability and regulatory compliance at Prairie View A&M University.
To oversee and coordinate the university’s compliance efforts. To reinforce and support a culture of compliance by educating, monitoring, assessing risks, and providing guidance.
To establish standards and implement procedures to ensure that compliance programs throughout the university are effective in preventing, deterring, detecting and correcting non-compliance with applicable laws and regulations and with internal policies.
To serve the university by promoting and instilling the highest standards of ethics and compliance into every employee’s daily work activities and decisions.
“The Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System is committed to the highest standards of integrity in all areas of ethics and compliance, and resolves that such activities undertaken by system faculty, staff and students should be conducted in accordance with strict ethical principles and in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, system standards and other applicable requirements” as stated in the A&M System Policy 16.01 System Ethics and Compliance Program.
