Center for International Business Education
The Center for International Business Education (CIBE) was established in 2004 with a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Activities and programs available through the CIBE are designed to internationalize the business curriculum at Prairie View A&M University and benefit the community by providing outreach opportunities and serving as a reliable resource.
Since its inception, the CIBE has:
- Created and/or supported the addition of several international business courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including an undergraduate minor in International Business and an MBA Track in International Business,
- Implemented study abroad and immersion field trips for students, faculty, K-12 educators and business owners in the community,
- Provided training workshops for high school teachers,
- Published a quarterly e-newsletter on a variety of topics, including import/export, international trade and guides to doing business in other countries.
The Center for International Business Education connects businesses with resources on exporting, e-commerce, international trade, and global market opportunities, helping organizations expand their reach and compete worldwide. Contact Dr. Ojumu for additional information.
