Tutorial Assistance for Fall 2026
For university core courses and some other business courses, students can contact the University Tutorial Center
The Center for Business Communication is available to students in the College of Business for assistance with resumes, cover letters, essays, outlines, article reviews, research papers, book reviews, memoranda, and other business correspondence items.
Students may schedule online appointments Monday-Thursday between 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. by contacting Ms. Edwina Garcia, M.Ed. at ecgarcia@pvamu.edu.
Online appointments may be conducted virtually between the student and the Program Assistant via e-mail Teams, or Zoom using a computer, tablet, or equivalent digital device.

COB Computer Homework Lab
Ag/Business Multipurpose Building – Room 332 (3rd Floor)
Need a place to study, work on assignments, or recharge between classes? The College of Business Computer Homework Lab offers technology resources, including computers, a collaborative workspace, a dry-erase board and convenient laptop-friendly seating to help students stay connected, charged and productive throughout the day.
Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Fall and Spring Semesters)
Student Lounge and Study Rooms
Ag/Business Multipurpose Building – Room 219 (2nd Floor)
The Student Lounge serves as a gathering space for College of Business students to study, connect with classmates, and take a break between classes. Located on the second floor of the Agriculture/Business Multipurpose Building beneath the clock tower, the lounge includes seating areas, a microwave, vending machines, and convenient access to nearby study rooms. Food and beverages are permitted in this area. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., or as posted.
Group Study Rooms are located on the 2nd floor of the building, with several rooms for small-group study.

- Room 213: Capacity – 16, whiteboard, monitor with HDMI connection
