Tutorial Assistance for Spring 2024 is now available.
An updated list of available courses and support for Business Students for fall will be posted after March 15. For university core courses and some other business courses, students can contact the University Tutorial Center
The Center for Business Communication is available to students in the College of Business for assistance with resumes, cover letters, essays, outlines, article reviews, research papers, book reviews, memoranda, and other business correspondence items.
Students may schedule online appointments Monday-Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. by contacting Ms. Edwina Garcia at ecgarcia@pvamu.edu.
Online appointments may be conducted between student and Program Assistant virtually by e-mail or Zoom conference using a computer, tablet, or equivalent digital instrument.

COB Homework Lab
Ag/Business Multipurpose Building – Room 332 (3rd Floor)
The College of Business has a computer homework lab available for COB student use during the posted hours.
Hours of Operation
Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Fall Semester)
Student Lounge and Study Rooms
Ag/Business Multipurpose Building – Room 219 (2nd Floor)
The Student Lounge is located on the second floor of the Ag/Business Multipurpose Building on the second floor, just under the clock tower. Food and beverages are allowed in this area. Copies of The Panther, flyers for student organization activities, business magazines and scholarship information are available in this room. Study rooms are also available on the second floor. Hours are 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday or as posted.
COB Student Guidebook
Prairie View A&M University lists “Ideals for the PVAMU Man and Woman” in the PVAMU handbook. Also included in this handbook are Students Rights and Responsibilities, Administration of Student Conduct, Code of Student Conduct Procedures and other regulations. The College of Business has created a document to provide additional information for business students. Included is information on student organizations, the path from pre-business to business for undergraduate students, classroom expectations, scholarship information, the College of Business Reading List, grade appeal information and more.
