The major emphases in the management and marketing curriculum are on problem identification, analysis and solution, decision making, business ethics, communication, team dynamics and leadership, and understanding and integrating other functional areas of business operations. Attention is given to the dynamic global business environment and the immediate utilization of business skills.

Graduate Programs in Business
PVAMU’s College of Business offers a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and two master’s degree programs in business: the Master of Science in Accounting (MSA) and the Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Experienced professionals can seek a specialized Executive MBA while other MBA students may pursue optional concentrations in one of the following areas: Accounting, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Finance, Management or Management Information Systems (MIS).
Graduate program courses are designed for working adults; classes are offered at convenient times in the evenings, weekends and online. Course delivery options include face-to-face, hybrid and online course instruction.
