Research Topic: Mental Health in Pageantry (currently Oberlton is the reigning Miss. Harris County)

RISE Program Highlight:  The RISE program has been instrumental in shaping my journey, opening doors to countless opportunities such as attending prestigious conferences and presenting my work on significant platforms. These experiences have not only broadened my horizons but have also empowered me to contribute meaningfully to my field.

Post-graduation plans:     I plan to gain a year of work experience before embarking on my PhD journey at Texas Woman’s University next fall. This transitional period will allow me to further develop my skills, expand my professional network, and gain practical insights that will enrich my doctoral studies

The Faculty Research and Innovation Success and Excellence Program (RISE), an initiative created by Prairie View A&M University’s Vice President of Research and Innovation, Magesh Rajan, Ph.D., P.E., invests in critical research and innovation domains. It fosters collaboration across disciplines among PVAMU faculty, students, and University partners.
