Nominations are open to all members of the PV community and are due by February 1. The provost will select the award winners, and the announcement and recognition of the individual(s) selected will occur during the Faculty Awards Ceremony.
Outstanding Full-Time Teaching Award
The Outstanding Full-Time Teaching Award honors PVAMU faculty members for teaching excellence. The accomplishments and contributions of those selected are highly meritorious and worthy of recognition. This award is primarily based on the accomplishments of the nominee during the current and/or previous academic year.
Outstanding Part-Time Teaching Award
The Outstanding Part-Time Teaching Award honors PVAMU adjunct faculty members for teaching excellence. The accomplishments and contributions of those selected are highly meritorious and worthy of recognition. This award is primarily based on the accomplishments of the nominee during the current and/or previous academic year.
Faculty Service Award
The Faculty Service Award honors PVAMU faculty members for excellence in service. The accomplishments and contributions of those selected are highly meritorious and worthy of recognition. This award is based primarily on the accomplishments of the nominee during the current and/or previous academic year.
Academic Advising Award
The Academic Advising Award honors PVAMU faculty or staff members for advising excellence. The accomplishments and contributions of those selected are highly meritorious and worthy of recognition. This award is based primarily on the accomplishments of the nominee during the current and/or previous academic years.
Global Engagement Faculty Award
The Global Engagement Faculty Award honors PVAMU faculty members for excellence in the expansion of global teaching, research and/or service. The accomplishments and contributions of those selected are highly meritorious and worthy of recognition. This award is primarily based on the accomplishments of the nominee during the current and/or previous academic year.
