CEES provides student researchers an opportunity to work with the research scientists in the center on current projects. CEES offers financial support for both undergraduate and graduate student researchers. Students who are involved in our research projects are encouraged to attend conferences and other opportunities to display and present presentations of their research.  CEES currently employs graduate students and undergraduate students on each of our projects in the fields of biofuels, energy and environment, or wind energy. Below is a list of our current research projects:

Center for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (CEES)- Phase II, NSF Center of Research Excellence in Research & Technology (CREST) program

The center also provides employment opportunities to students every year. Students with engineering, science or agriculture majors and an interest in energy research are encouraged to apply for student assistant positions in the center. Interested students with good academic standing should contact the individual primary investigators in respective groups.

Research Grants and Funding

The success of the CEES research center is due, in large part, to the grants and funding from our external partners. In addition to the CEES research, the center participates in a variety of other research projects in an effort to help develop solutions to environmental issues. The following links will provide information on the center’s grants and funding sources as well as the objectives and current work of the projects.
