The Memorial Student Center is located on the corner of L.W. Minor and O.J. Thomas streets, directly across from the William J. Nicks Building (Baby Dome). The Memorial Student Center is the main focal point for most student services and student social life on the campus of Prairie View A&M University.
Located within the Memorial Student Center Building are the following offices and services….

Also located in the Memorial Student Center is a 980-seat Auditorium (The Opal Johnson-Smith Auditorium), Ballrooms, Conference Rooms and a Student Lounge.
Normal hours that the Memorial Student Center is open are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM; weekends… Saturday, 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Summer Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break building hours are as follows: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM; weekends… Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
The Memorial Student Center is available for all types of social, cultural, and special activities. Reservations for events are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
