The University Police Department (UPD) is the official designated office for Lost & Found property. However, items found within the Memorial Student Center are often times surrendered to the office for Student Center Operations (Room 202).
In additions, items lost in the dining hall are often times surrendered to the cashier’s station and University Issued ID cards are taken to the Auxiliary Services office (Room 107).
If a wallet or purse is found, we will check for identification in order to attempt to contact the owner and advise them that the property will be held in Room 202.
In accordance with University Rule 21.99.04.P1 Disposition of Abandoned and Unclaimed Personal Property, all state issued ID’s, financial instruments, and electronic items not claimed by the end of each day will be given to the University Police Department.
