Black, a divine color, is associated with power, mystery, elegance, and formality. The Letter X, a symbol that is often used to represent the unknown, is a point where different paths meet and then go their separate ways. these concepts come together as we bring to you 8 creatives on their journey of self-discovery to find their place in the future of design.

Minor in Art

The Art Department program serves as the cultural arm of the university. The goal is to pursue students for the production, study, critiquing and teaching of the arts. Course work is designed to stimulate a greater awareness of the visual arts both past and present. The faculty of the School of Architecture believes that studies in the fine arts and art history are valuable to the liberal and professional education of all students. A number of courses and the Minor in Art are offered to the university community as opportunities to learn the basics of art or to develop and area of special ability by completing the requirements for the minor. Students wishing to participate in art classes or pursue a Minor in Art are urged to meet with the appropriate faculty or administrators of the program to develop a curriculum designed to suit their needs.
