The Architectural Concept Institute (ACI) is a 10-week summer bridge program designed to give high-achieving incoming freshman students an opportunity to immerse themselves in the study of architecture. Participants will receive 6 hours of college-level coursework. After the summer, this program will transition into a 2-Year Learning Community, where each semester students will be given a schedule of two or three classes they will take together as a cohort. Students must be Texas residents (or a Non-Resident on a Presidential or Regents Scholarship) to participate.
This is an opportunity for high achieving future Panthers like yourself. Texas residents with a +3.0 GPA are eligible for our select Architectural Concepts Institute (ACI) Summer Program. Regents and Presidential Award Scholars from out of state also qualify for this 10-week summer program. The Program covers one academic year’s worth of Architecture Design course work that will earn you 12 credit hours toward your degree The ACI Program sets you on the path to completing the four-year Bachelor of Science in Architecture and the one-year Master of Architecture all in four years, – if you continue to take design classes each summer With a cumulative +3.0 GPA you can receive a Scholarship to cover tuition fees, meals, and board for the Summer.

Courses Offered: ARCH 1303 Architecture Design, ARCH 1307 Visual Communications, and ARCH 1626 Architecture Design II
