As part of the screening process All of the following MUST be completed in order for your application to be reviewed for potential acceptance into the College of Nursing.
1.Reviewed the College of Nursing Catalog and the PVAMU admission/acceptance requirements
2.Completed the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements (i.e., TSIA or alternate examination) with minimum passing scores (coursework will not be accepted); or be exempt based on other University criteria (SAT/ACT, Associate's Degree or higher,Prior Military Service, etc.)
3.Met the required 3.0 Cumulative GPA and 3.0 Support Area GPA on a 4.0 scale, and have not repeated more than two (2) of the pre-requisite courses
4.Completed 60 pre-requisite hours (to be most competitive) or a minimum of 45 hours (show current enrollment in remaining hours)

TRANSFER STUDENT Pre-Screening Requirements
Obtain and scan ALL of the following required documents individually into PDF format for upload:

1.Nursing Application Fee - Make payment of $60 and print the receipt.
2.Recommendation Forms - Obtain two recommendations
3.Verification of Community Service Form
4.HESI Score Document - Passed the Nursing Entrance Exam within two attempts; prior to the College of Nursing's application deadlines (March 1st for Fall, September 1st for Spring)
5.College Transcript(s) - Requested official transcripts from all institutions attended. These are in addition to any and all transcripts submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Printed and scanned Unofficial Transcripts from all educational institutions attended.
Please keep a copy of all documents submitted (including transcripts for your records)
