Prairie View A&M University Payment Agreement and Consent to Use BankMobile(formerly HigherOne) Services for Refunds

The following agreement must be accepted by each student registering here at Prairie View A&M University. You will be prompted with this statement when you log into PantherTracks and register online each semester ( Click Here for Instructions To Accepting The Promise To Pay Agreement):

Payment Agreement

I agree to pay all tuition, fees, and charges associated with my attendance to Prairie View A&M University. I understand I am responsible for maintaining my correct address and telephone contact information in Panthertracks through PVPlace. I am responsible for reading all email sent to my pvamu.edu address. I agree that if I have not paid 100% of my current tuition, fees, and charges by the last business day before the first installment due day, that PVAMU has my permission to automatically enroll me in the installment method for payment of my current tuition, fees and charges for Fall & Spring terms only. I understand there will be a fee assessed for enrolling in the installment method and I agree to the assessment. I understand that if I fail to make the installment payments on the date due, I will be assessed a late charge for each time I fail to meet the due date. I understand the terms for the installment method for payment of my current tuition, fees and charges as listed on the Treasury Services web site Fee Payment Plan and under Important Tuition Information . If I should be able to pay all current tuition, fees, and charges in full prior to the first installment due day, the installment payment plan fee will be reversed. I understand that if I have not paid 34% of my tuition and fees on or prior to the scheduled due date for Fall/Spring and 100% on or prior on or prior to the scheduled due date for Summer that I will be dropped for non-payment. If I enrolled late or add additional courses after school begins, I understand if I am not in a paid status as stated above by the 20^th class day for Fall/Spring and the 15^th class day for Summer (per PVAMU Academic Calendar) for the current term that I will be dropped for non-payment. I give my permission to allow any refund due from financial aid/loans/awards/ and/or scholarships to be applied to any previous balance owed and short term loan balance due if balance due is within the same aid year of funds received and if past due balance is less than $200.00 if outside of aid year. If the amount of the refund is greater than the amount owed, the University will issue me a refund. I understand if I should receive a refund and then I incur additional charges and fees, I am responsible for paying the balance due. If my financial aid and/or awards/scholarship have to be returned, I understand I will be held responsible for returning the amount of the refund I received back to the university. I understand that if I fail to make full payment of tuition, fees, and charges including any incidental fees by the due date, I will be prohibited from registering for classes until full payment is made. If I fail to make full payment prior to the end of the semester I understand that I may be denied credit for the work done that semester. I understand that if my past due balances are turned over to a collection agency that I will be responsible for the payment of fees of any collection agency assessed to the University, which may be based on a percentage at a maximum of 33.3% of the debt, and all costs and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, we incur in the such collection efforts of my past due balance. I understand that if I withdraw from PVAMU any time after the 1st class day Fall/Spring semesters I am responsible for all/part tuition, fees, and charges assessed depending on my withdrawal date and the withdrawal refund schedule. BankMobile Services for Student Refunds Prairie View A&M University partnered with BankMobile, a financial services company focused solely on higher education to bring a new and faster way for students to choose how they wish to receive their refund electronically. With BankMobile, the student has three options in which to receive their refund: Direct Deposit to your existing bank account, The BankMobile Account “Vibe”, or a paper check. Prairie View A&M University now issues student refunds through BankMobile in which these options are available to you the student. In order to make these refund services available to you, BankMobile will mail a personal pin code to you on behalf of Prairie View A&M University in a green envelope once you consent to the services that will assist you with making your refund preference. If you would like to receive your student refund through BankMobile, which offers the three (3) options listed above, click the box at the bottom of this page to consent to receiving your refund through BankMobile. If you do not consent to receiving your refund through these methods provided through these methods provided by BankMobile, your other option to receive your refund is through PVAMU by method of paper check. If you do not consent to the services provided by BankMobile, your student refund will be automatically mailed to the mailing address on file in PV Place. Federal Funds Authorization

I authorize Prairie View A&M University to apply my federal student aid to any institutional charges and non-institutional charges (any charge not directly related to taking a course such as parking fees, meal plan, and Housing Rent) past due balances within the aid year and past due balances less than $200.00 if balance is outside of the current aid year. If I reside in on campus housing, I authorize Prairie View A&M University to apply my federal student aid to pay for on campus housing that is provided by a 3rd party vendor. This authorization will remain in effect unless I request in writing to PVAMU Treasury Services to cancel this authorization. I understand if I do have any outstanding fees, fines, etc. I will not be allowed to register for any future semesters, will not be able to receive an official transcript thru June 2, 2024, will not be able to receive any degree upon graduation, and I may be denied credit for the courses I have taken until the balance is paid in full. I understand that any unpaid balances may be turned over to a collection agency and I will be responsible for any collection fees the university in such as collection efforts of my past due account.
