    • “MIP” means Membership Intake Process.   Registered Student Organizations that are member organizations of the PVAMU National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) or the Independent Greek Council (IGC) are classified as “social” fraternities and sororities.  To gain membership in one the organizations, the members have participated in traditional ritualistic ceremonies and educational processes to obtain membership.  These organizations are not historically associated with any particular field of study/discipline and membership is open to the general student body who meet the prescribed criteria for its respective organization.
  • Am I guaranteed to affiliate with the respective organization of my choice after attending and participating in a GLP Workshop?
    • No.  Participation in the GLP Workshop does not guarantee membership in any PVAMU IGC or PVAMU NPHC member organization.  However, ONLY students who have successfully completed one (1) Greek Life Perspectives Workshop are eligible to be considered for membership in any PVAMU IGC or PVAMU NPHC member organization.
  • How will the respective organization of my choice verify that I attended a GLP Workshop?
