The purpose of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) chapter shall be to uphold the Pillars of Excellence for Fraternity and Sorority Life: to strive for organizational effectiveness; to promote community and civic engagement; maintain high scholastic standards; ensure the development of member organization and thus the NPHC chapter; and enhance the support of the mission of Prairie View A&M University. The NPHC chapter will serve as the governing body for member organizations promoting a cohesive approach to programming, member accountability, safe practices, resource development, and the overall growth of the Fraternity and Sorority Life community.
