The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) appreciates the commitment of campus advisors to our chapters at Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU). The campus advisor serves as the primary conduit between the University administration and the undergraduate students that make up the active chapters. The campus advisor is responsible for guiding the undergraduate chapter in their efforts to develop student leaders, execute high-level programming for the campus community and, foster a sense of community within the chapter as well as amongst other chapters while mitigating risk and adhering the university rules and regulations.
Chapter Advisor Responsibilities

- Full-time PVAMU employee to serve as the administrative official for the chapter
- Develop current and new members
- Serve as an accountability agent to the chapter and members
- Attend chapter activities
- Advocate on behalf of the chapters
