Test Location - Student Success

Testing Services is currently located in the Wilhelmina R.F. Delco Building. The building’s physical address is 1130 Reda Bland Evans Street, Prairie View, TX 77446.

The Test Office is on the 3rd floor, Room 305.
The Test Lab is on the 3rd floor, Room 331.

PVAMU student testers are required to park in designated student parking lots and must have a valid parking permit on file with Parking Management. Additionally, commuter students must park in designated commuter parking lots.

The closest commuter lot to the test location is Lot 75, additional commuter parking is available in either Lot 68a or Lot 66.
If these lots are full, please park in either Lot 93, Lot 95, Lot 84, or Lot 5a.

Nonstudent testers are required to park in a ParkMobile spot in a designated visitor parking lot. Visitor permits are valid for one day only. If you are scheduled for testing over multiple days, a new visitor permit must be obtained for each day. Permits must be acquired through the ParkMobile app.

The closest visitor parking area to the test location is Lot 86, and additional visitor parking is available in either Lot 75 or Lot 74A.
If these lots are full, please park in either Lot 91, Lot 96, Lot 5A, or Lot 6.
If these lots are full, please park in either Lot 63 or Lot 53. Note: these lots are the farthest from the test building.

On test day, you can stop by the Thomas E. Gray Information Center located near the campus entrance on University Drive for assistance navigating the campus. You may also reach out to test staff at (936) 261-3627.

Parking in a lot not designated for you or failure to follow parking guidelines may result in fines, towing, or booting of your vehicle; and having proof that you were taking an exam with our office will not exempt you from these penalties. If your vehicle is towed or booted, contact the Parking Management office at (936) 261 -1701.

Navigating to Test Location

Take exit Prairie View / FM 1098 from US-290:
- If coming from Houston: Turn right at the traffic light.
- If coming from Hempstead/College Station: Turn left at the traffic light.
Continue straight on University Drive until you reach the next traffic light.
Proceed straight onto campus and turn left onto T.R. Solomon Street at the first intersection.
Continue on T.R. Solomon Street to the stop sign, then turn right onto O.J. Thomas Street.
Continue straight on O.J. Thomas Street to the next stop sign, then turn left onto L.W. Minor Street.
L.W. Minor Street will curve and become R.B. Evans Street.
Stop at the next stop sign; the test building (Wilhelmina Delco) will be visible on your right.

Navigating to the Test Lab

From Parking Lot 86: The lot is located behind the Owens-Franklin Health Center. Exit Lot 86, walk past the Health Center, cross the 2nd parking lot (Lot 88), and follow the path to enter the Wilhelmina Delco building.
Inside the building, take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Exit the elevator, turn left, then left again at the window. Continue straight down the hallway; the test lab (Delco 331) will be the third door on the right.
Alternative Route (if the elevator is out of service):
- From the elevator area, turn right and continue straight down the hallway.
- At the end of the hallway, go through the door on the left and take the stairs to the 3rd floor.
- On the 3rd floor, turn right and continue straight; the test lab (Delco 331) will be the third door on the right.

Lot 86 – Beside the Owens-Franklin Health Center across from the Phase 1 and 2 back gate

1. From R.B. Evans Street, turn left onto O.J. Baker Street.
2. Go straight and follow the curve to the right onto Oscar Pipkin Street.
3. Turn right into Parking Lot 86. Park in a ParkMobile space. Testers should park only in Visitor ParkMobile spots in parking lot 86. To register your vehicle, visit the website on the sign and enter the following details:
  - Zone Number (found on the sign)
  - Spot Number (located on the ground, bottom left of your parking spot)
  - License Plate Number
  Visitor parking permits cost $5.00. Parking in any non-visitor spaces, reserved spots, or failing to register on the ParkMobile website will result in a ticket from campus police or towing of your vehicle. Proof of exam attendance will not exempt you from fines or towing.

Alternative Route (if roads are blocked):

- After turning left onto T.R. Solomon Street, continue straight to the stop sign.
- Proceed straight onto Marion Henry Street.
- Follow Marion Henry Street around the curve to the stop sign.
- Continue straight onto Oscar Pipkin Street and stop at the next stop sign.
- Proceed straight and turn right into Parking Lot 86. Park in a ParkMobile space.
- Testers should park only in Visitor ParkMobile spots in parking lot 86. To register your vehicle, visit the website on the sign and enter the following details:
