RISE Program Highlight:  My highlight from participating in the RISE program was interviewing descendants of the George W. Wyatt cemetery. This experience deepened my understanding and has also provided me with a newfound appreciation for the history and legacy of my school. I am grateful for the mentorship and support I’ve received, and I believe that the lessons learned here are ones that I couldn’t have gained anywhere else, thanks to Tyler Moore, Ph.D., and Ms. Francis.

Post-graduation plans:  I intend to pursue a Master of Business program.

The Faculty Research and Innovation Success and Excellence Program (RISE), an initiative created by Prairie View A&M University’s Vice President of Research and Innovation, Magesh Rajan, Ph.D., P.E., invests in critical research and innovation domains. It fosters collaboration across disciplines among PVAMU faculty, students, and University partners.
