The Prairie View A&M University College of Nursing will host an accreditation visit by the by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) from September 16 – September 17, 2025. This is a follow-up visit and aims to seek ACEN ongoing accreditation for the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program.
As part of the accreditation process, ACEN invites constituents and stakeholders to submit third-party comments related to the program’s qualifications for accreditation. Stakeholders may include, but are not limited to, faculty teaching, students enrolled in the programs, alumni, and other interested parties.
You are invited to meet with the site visit team and share your comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled at 1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. on September 16. 2025, in room 966 of the College of Nursing building located at 6436 Fannin Street Houston, Texas 77030.

This visit aims to seek CCNE ongoing accreditation for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and Post-graduate Certificate programs.
As part of the accreditation process, CCNE invites constituents and stakeholders to submit third-party comments related to the program’s qualifications for accreditation.
