Dear PVAMU Students and Parents,
If you were selected for verification for the 14 – 15 Academic School Year you will be required to submit copies of 2013 Tax Return Transcripts, which must be requested from the IRS. The process to request and retrieve a Tax Return Transcript from the IRS can be timely and may cause a delay in you receiving your award letter
After final spring grades are posted and Satisfactory Academic Progress calculated, electronic financial aid award notifications will be sent to the University email address of continuing students on or after June 1, 2014. The email will direct you to check your award status using Panthertracks.

Parents of students who wish to apply for a Parent Plus Loan for the 2014-2015 Aid year, should begin submitting their applications on or after July 1st. Parents of students who submit their application before this date, may have to re-apply for their Parent Plus Loan.

TEXAS GRANT AWARDING
As always, the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships is committed to providing the highest level of service to support you in achieving your academic goals. To be considered for Texas Grant you will have to have met the March 15, 2014 Priority Deadline.
The Texas Grant initial award will be an estimated amount. The actual award is contingent upon the final review of your Official High School transcript on or after July 15. Communication will be sent via your PVAMU email.
