The School of Public and Allied Health (SPAH) faculty have multi-disciplinary backgrounds in Public Health, Health, Kinesiology, and Exercise Science which consist of epidemiology, behavioral science/health promotion/health education, biostatistics, exercise science, sport management, and healthcare administration. From a research standpoint, faculty in SPAH engages in public health-related research targeting health disparities, health promotion, epidemiology, biostatistics, and administrative health sciences. Faculty research efforts have led to federal, state, and institutional funding and peer-reviewed publications. Thus, SPAH is led by faculty with diverse teaching and research experiences.
