Prairie View A&M University’s Pollinator Garden Program operates from the Cooperative Extension Program building. Entomologists and Program Specialists work together to provide resources that assist the community in creating safe havens for pollinators. Their efforts help recognize the unique pollinator species that impact human lives and increase understanding of environmental ecology enhanced by pollinators. Additional resources include factsheets on alternative pollinators and their purpose, educational programs about urban gardening and its relation to the pollinator programs, and discussions with eager audiences about key pollinators and their impact on agriculture, wildlife, and human operations.
