Prairie View A&M University recognizes the contributions that bees make to society, and provides entomological resources that educate people about the human relationship to bees. Bees of all shapes and sizes provide a vital function to wildlife environments, farms, gardens, and greenhouses. As pollinators, bees are responsible for the transport of reproductive plant matter, production of food sources, and growth of plants responsible for enhancing human and natural resources. PVAMU’s Programs encourage conservation practices that protect and vitalize bees and their habitats. The success of bees impacts the success of humans.
