Prairie View Agriculture and Natural Resources (AgNR) unit Extension’s signature programs are learning educational plans that is compiled for producers as part of a comprehensive education system for application of knowledge. At least one of the programs are offered in each county annually.

The Signature Programs

  • Aimed at one or more of AgNR Extension’s four critical areas (Sustainable Livestock Production, Disaster Management and Outreach, Crop Production and Utilization, and Environmental Management).
  • Provide one or more education programs to address issues facing Texas (agriculture, natural resources, and animal systems).
  • Add to at least one areas of the College of Agriculture and Human Sciences research (food systems, animal systems, plant systems, natural resources and environment systems, and social systems and allied research)
