Welcome to the Panther Gardener Program. The Prairie View A & M University Panther Gardener Program is a volunteer development and recruitment program offered by Prairie View A&M University Cooperative Extension Program.
At the heart of the Panther Gardener Program is a place for volunteers to have fun, educational experiences while serving the community in which they live. Panther Gardener Program volunteers help Cooperative Extension Service extend outreach education of the university and provide research-based horticultural information to the public.
The Panther Gardener Program training series is set to debut in 2022. We will start this fall by collecting the names and contact information of those interested in the next Panther Gardener training course. We will provide packets once the application materials are complete and available. The packets will contain an application, counties involved, and a tentative class schedule (class dates are fixed, but speakers’ dates are subject to change).
