At Prairie View A&M University School of Architecture, we are proud to offer a vibrant, interdisciplinary education rooted in creativity, leadership, and forward-thinking design. Our programs, spanning undergraduate degrees in Architecture, Construction Science, and graduate degrees in Architecture and Planning, prepare students to shape a better world through the built and virtual environments.

Our graduates excel across a spectrum of fields, including design, development, construction, planning, and immersive digital media. Our accomplished faculty bring both academic depth and industry experience, teaching in areas such as sustainable design, net-zero buildings, construction management, advanced media, GIS, BIM, cultural preservation, urban development, negotiation, and more.

The School’s commitment to innovation is reflected in our award-winning facilities. The Nathelyne A. Kennedy Architecture Building, designed by renowned architect Michael Rotondi, FAIA of ROTO Architects with HKS Dallas, is a landmark space that fosters creativity and excellence. Adjacent to it, the Fabrication Design Center, designed by Kirksey Architecture, is a cutting-edge hub for experimentation and production. It houses advanced tools, including laser cutters, 3D printers, Robotic Arms, CNC routers, VR technology, and wood and metal workshops, offering a seamless environment for design, prototyping, and fabrication.
