The Office of Research Advancement (ORA) is a recently established unit. ORA supports the university’s research and scholarly community in the pursuit of external grant funds. Working with PV faculty and researchers, our goal is to help create and submit highly competitive proposals to external funding agencies and thus advance the university’s strategic initiatives for research and scholarship.

ORA is tasked with matching the faculty members’ areas of research expertise with external funding opportunities, helping them develop competitive and multidisciplinary proposals.  In addition, ORA offers workshops and hands-on training in grantsmanship.  ORA also offers assistance for proposal outline and timeline development, advisement, and editing of research proposals. ORA is available to support the coordination, collaboration, proposal organization, technical advisement and development of inter-disciplinary proposals,
