PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (June 12, 2024) – Daniel Kennebrew, Ph.D., has been awarded $25,000 in grant funding by Ford Motors.
Kennebrew is an Assistant Professor of the Practice in the College of Business at Prairie View A&M University.
The grant will support scholarships for college students pursuing STEM-related career areas that support the EV and Advanced Manufacturing industries. These scholarships will cover the cost of attendance, including tuition, room and board, books, supplies, equipment, and/or experiences critical for students to thrive in their studies. This support will help students develop the essential Future of Work skills needed for success after graduation.
The students who were selected to work on the project are Sheldon Benson, Eriana Calvert, Saha Daniel, Anieya Hilliard, Lailen Hall, Carissa Jones, Amaya McGinty, Raykayla Pickney, Bethany Polk, Aristeo Sandoval, Zaucause Williams, and Jordyn Wysingle.
