National Science Foundation logoThe National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded Dr. Lei Huang, Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department,  funding for his research titled “EAGER: A Data Flow Approach to Meet the Challenges of Big Data Analytics”.  The project will receive $299,999.00 for the next two years.

The project will allow collaboration with Dr. Jack Denis at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)  Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) to explore the innovative data flow computer architecture for big data analytics applications. The team will have the opportunity to visit the MIT CSAIL lab and learn the latest research progress. This research project will increase the Prairie View A&M University research capacity and provide a rich learning environment for our students.
