Mission of the Office for Institutional Accreditation (OFIA)

OFIA is the hub unit responsible for collaborating with other administrative units the coordination of activities, programs, and reporting undergirding institution-wide systematic, ongoing planning and assessment in academic, support, and administrative components of Prairie View A&M University. Further, its purpose is to engage broad- based participation in preserving the institution’s integrity and monitoring its continuous quality enhancement as evidenced by sustained compliance with the core requirements, comprehensive standards, and federal requirements of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).
