Effective immediately, the Prairie View College of Nursing is requiring The ATI Test of Academic Skills (TEAS). This standardized test is designed specifically to assess a student’s preparedness for entering the health science field. Questions are designed to test basic academic skills. Applicants must pass the pre-nursing entrance exam (TEAS) within two attempts. Complete five sections: Reading (75%), Math (74%), English (64%), and Science (54%). (Exempt: RN-BSN applicants). The ATI TEAS has been statistically proven to be a valid predictor of early nursing school success. Your score on the TEAS is one measure of academic preparedness that helps Prairie View consider your acceptance into our nursing program(s). For more information go to pvamu.edu/teas. A variety of prep resources are available to help students study for the test – all aligned to the ATI TEAS, Version 7, and packed with thousands of practice questions based on the content and format of the actual exam at https://atitesting.com/teas.
