Challenge

Before the launch of “Welcome to Pantherland” in 2024, new faculty, staff, and students often lacked a centralized, engaging introduction to Prairie View A&M University. While orientation materials existed, there was a clear need for a visually compelling and easily accessible digital resource that captured PVAMU’s essence—its history, culture, and traditions—in a way that resonated with all audiences.

This gap limited community connection and left an opportunity to celebrate PVAMU’s vibrant legacy more powerfully. The project aimed to deliver a welcoming, story-driven experience that not only engaged new audiences but also reconnected the University’s 80,000+ alumni with nearly 150 years of history and pride.

Results

Welcome to Pantherland successfully met all its objectives and delivered outstanding results. It became one of the year’s top performing social media posts, driving significant engagement and interest. The article garnered over 2,000 views, with an impressive average read time of approximately 2.5 minutes.
