Objective
- Enhancing School Pride – Create a bold, visually engaging campus environment that excites and enhances the university’s brand identity.
- Increasing Student and Alumni Engagement – Create graphics that the audience will find catchy and compelling, and which will make them want to engage and participate in Homecoming events.
- Increasing the Rate of Attendance – Produce a visually rich experience that will bring more people to the Homecoming events and celebrations.
- Improving Social Media Interaction – Use effective designs to make attendees post their experiences online, thus enhancing digital interaction and awareness.

Challenge
The Office for Marketing and Communications at Prairie View A&M University leads the effort to maximize visual impact during Homecoming events by creating an immersive experience that energizes both campus and community members. Our $14,000 budget required us to develop powerful visual elements which would boost school spirit while increasing event attendance and social media presence. Our goal was to create a dynamic Homecoming atmosphere through strategic resource management and cost-effective material selection and placement in high-visibility areas which would appeal to students, alumni, faculty, and staff members.
Results
The project was completed on time and successfully transformed campus spaces into a dynamic, branded Homecoming experience. The graphics increased engagement, boosted school pride, and enhanced social media interaction as attendees shared their experiences.
Positive feedback highlighted the impact of the visuals, contributing to higher event attendance. Strategic resource management ensured maximum impact within the budget, making the initiative a model for future event branding efforts.
