CRESSE committed to student excellence in research, education

CRESSE is committed that Prairie View A&M University will provide a dependable, academically prepared and technically competent pipeline of highly-trained advanced degree-holding graduates ready to fill NASA’s future workforce needs.

“Shadow Program” support joining students with CRESSE engineers and scientists in research environments strengthen the education and outreach component as do extensive conference poster competitions and student co-authored peer reviewed papers.

Each CRESSE research area has specific education and outreach objectives that address student academic levels – from graduate school to middle school.

CRESSE will support three (3) doctoral, twelve (12) masters and approximately twenty (20) undergraduate researchers, augmented by other PVAMU research funded by the National Science Foundation, various STEM programs, the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP), graduate fellowships and other programs targeting under served student populations.
