Prairie View A&M University is excited to announce the launch of our new data security solution, Forcepoint DLP Endpoint. This data loss protection tool aims to help you and the university identify the location of sensitive data on your device and its use as required by state and system policies.

Once the app has been installed on your device, you will notice either of these icons below your device. The launch of this new application will require no action on your part.

Windows Devices

When you see this icon in your taskbar, Forcepoint DLP Endpoint is enabled and actively monitoring your Windows device for data loss.

Mac Devices
Forcepoint DLP Endpoint Mac Icon

When you see this icon in your taskbar, Forcepoint DLP Endpoint is enabled and actively monitoring your Mac device for data loss.
The system will automatically scan your machine whenever sensitive data is touched and will protect against the unauthorized removal of sensitive data from your computer. We look forward to working along with the PVAMU family to better secure our critical information.
