Dr. Dada won the MAC 30th Anniversary Henry Brown Award for his leadership and advancement for minorities from pre-1990 through 2000 and Dr. Olanrewaju won the James Wei Award for broadening participation for minorities from 2011 through 2020. The awards were part of the 30th anniversary of MAC (Minority Affairs Committee).
On Thursday November 18, 2021, PVAMU celebrated their inaugural PVAMU Order of the Engineering Ceremony. Three students (Kaylon Atkinson, Nathan Warren, and Alessia Williams) and one faculty member (Dr. Safwat Shakir) took the ethics pledge and received their rings. Congratulations everyone!!!
