Career Fair BoothsOur Career Fair is an excellent way of getting qualified candidates for your business or organization. We have two fairs a year, one in the fall (September), and one in the spring (February).  Our University-wide career fair is open to all majors and classifications.

Our staff is here to serve and help you find the most qualified Prairie View A&M University student or alumni for your organization.

Tuesday, February 11th

* Please Note: Lunch is available on campus in the Memorial Student Center cafeteria, 1876 Bistro or any local area restaurants. Should you wish to take a student to lunch or dinner off campus, please notify Career Services.  It is our goal to help make your recruiting experience at Prairie View A&M University both productive & enjoyable. Employers may ship display units and materials to be pre-positioned in the organization’s assigned booth. Ensure packages are clearly labeled CAREER FAIR with employers name for proper delivery. Career Services is not responsible for missing packages if employer does not follow the above instructions.

Directions to Prairie View A&M University

From Bush International Airport:

Take Sam Houston Tollway west to Highway 290 West. Travel Highway 290 West to Prairie View. Exit Prairie View A&M University (FM 1098). At the light, turn right on to University Blvd. Continue straight just past the, turn at the first immediate left on T. R. Solomon Street. At stop sign, turn right on O. J. Thomas Street. Parking will be available in Lot 6 and on the south side of the William J. Nicks Field House.

From Hobby Airport:

Take Interstate 45 (IH-45) through downtown, continue on IH-45 exit Interstate 10 (IH-10) toward San Antonio. Exit Loop 610  to Highway 290 West. Travel Highway 290 West to Prairie View A&M University. Exit Prairie View A&M University (FM 1098). At the light, turn right on to University Blvd. Continue straight just past the flagpoles and, turn at the first immediate left on T. R. Solomon Street. At stop sign, turn right on O. J. Thomas Street. Parking will be available in Lot 6 and on the south side of the William J. Nicks Field House.


A parking permit must be purchased for $2.00 during hours of operation from the Thomas Gray Information Center, located at the entrance of the campus on University Drive (to your right). Or purchase one ahead of time online by clicking parking pass.

Sponsorships are optional and are used to help offset the cost of hosting the Career Fair activities as well as branding opportunities for your organization.

There are several levels of sponsorship available:

Platinum ($5,000)

Gold ($4,000)

Job Postings

An employer is welcome to post job announcements with Career Services for students to apply. We have an email database in which postings are emailed to students and posted through our office. Resume books are also available by request for employers to view. Please contact the Career Services Center for more information or submit a request through PantherLINK or submit an on campus recruiting request .

Information Sessions

An information session is the best way to introduce your organization. Prospective employers are welcome to have information sessions the evening before their interviews. To arrange an information session, you may contact our office to reserve a room. The university requires a 15 day notice for reservation of classrooms, but we will do our best to accommodate your request if you need assistance. Refreshments may be ordered through our on campus catering Sodexho at

On-Campus Interviewing

We offer  our services of interview scheduling and job posting for free. You may utilize our online system PantherLINK or submit an online request. Career Services at Prairie View A&M University, is available to assist with collecting resumes for you to review and schedule interviews.

During your visit, telephone, Wi-Fi and copy machine are available for your convenience at no charge. Career Services request employers to fill out a student evaluation form to complete and return after your last interview.

It is very important to provide Career Services with copies of any of your correspondences with Prairie View A&M University students regarding plant/ office visits/interviews, rejections/acceptance, and job offers you extend. We appreciate a dollar figure on offers made as our office participates in the College Placement Council Salary Survey. All information will be kept confidential.
