Responsible for the global travel program at Texas Instruments (TI), Mia Lackey is the Global Travel Manager, Worldwide Procurement & Logistics which has global responsibility for the company’s travel & expense and corporate card purchasing activities. Mia, who joined Texas Instruments in 1995, brings nearly 25 years of sourcing, procurement and supply chain experience to this position. Beginning her career with Texas Instruments as a computer programmer, during her tenure Mia has held various positions such as Purchase to Pay Manager, Sourcing Manager, Business Analyst and Program Analyst. In 2009 Mia assumed the role as the Texas Instruments global travel manager overseeing the travel program for 32 countries covering 4 regions and 50,000 travelers; including all travel related aspects such as airline contract negotiation, global hotel program sourcing, global ground & transportation, online booking tools, traveler duty of care, travel policy compliance reporting; in addition to managing the supplier relationship of the company’s global travel management company. In 2000 Mia received the Buyer of the Year Award from the Women’s Business Council – Southwest. Mia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Masters of Business Administration.
