Prairie View A&M University alumnus Jimmy R.O. Smith (http://www.jimmyrosmith.com)is a professional choreographer, creative director, producer, and performance/fitness development coach in the film and entertainment industry. Graduating from #PVAMU with a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance, with a music education minor, Jimmy was a head drum major and trombone player for the Marching Storm, KPVU radio host, member of the Student Government Association and Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education, and a residential advisor for the University College dormitory on campus.

A native of Ft. Worth Texas, Jimmy has proven himself to be a supreme force in the entertainment industry of Los Angeles, California. His unique style and creative spark has captured the attention of today’s top directors, choreographers and artists. He has shared the stage and screen with top performers including the Black Eyed Peas, Usher, Chris Brown, Cher, Beyoncé, NE-YO, Fergie, Ciara, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Eddie Murphy, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson, Kirk Franklin, Keri Hilson, 50 Cent, and P. Diddy to name a few.

Jimmy has performed in movies such as Dreamgirls and Stomp the Yard. In February this year, he was also a principal dancer in the Super Bowl Half-time Show as part of the dance troupe for Jennifer Lopez.
