
The Prairie View A&M University Police Department will be hosting the 8-hour Advanced D.W.I. Investigation & Enforcement Course on Tuesday, July 25. Class time will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This course is Free however, you must register to attend.
The goal of the Advanced DWI Investigation & Enforcement course is to improve the skill of law enforcement officers in detecting and arresting impaired driving offenders and preparing cases for prosecution. This 8-hour course was designed to supplement other impaired driving enforcement courses such as the Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) Practitioner, SFST Refresher, and the Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) courses.
The overall mission of this program is to decrease alcohol-related crashes, injuries, and deaths by promoting DWI deterrence and enforcement.

Special Instructions:
Attendee must provide their PID # to receive TCOLE credit for this course. To promote a professional environment, UPD Training Division requires proper business casual attire. T-shirts, shorts, capri pants, and flip-flops are prohibited.
