PVAMU CURES team wins international poster competition

When architectural landmarks are damaged, 3D technology can help in restoration efforts. The Prairie View A&M University School of Architecture (SOA) Community Urban Rural Enhancement Service (CURES) Center has one of the most advanced 3D laser scanning technology systems available. A team from the center recently won an international design competition for their poster and presentation explaining the system.

SoA professor nominated to serve on panel to preserve African-American history, culture

Tracey L. Moore, Digital Media Arts Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture (SOA) at Prairie View A&M University, was recently nominated to serve as an inaugural Harris County African-American History and Culture Advisory member representing Precinct 3.
