Academic Advising/Registration
Academic Advising & Registration:
We are excited that you are joining Prairie View A&M University.
Appointments for advising and registration for students admitted for Summer and/or Fall 2021 will begin in Mid-May 2021. Communication about appointments will be sent in Early-May 2021 to the email you used on your admissions application.
To help create your class schedule, have the following information ready:
- an updated college major on record,
- information about Advance Placement (AP),
- International Baccalaureate (IB) or CLEP testing, and
- college courses completed while in high school.
Additional information:
Academic Advisors are professional staff who provide general advising and assist with the registration process.

TSI Exam:
If you are required to complete the TSI Exam, you have until the end of the Fall Semester to complete this requirement.
