Mission: The Mission of the First Year Experience (FYE) is to help develop the student through proactive academic readiness personal growth, professional growth, and increase career readiness skills. The FYE is designed to prepare students for a successful matriculation beyond year one and to help build the foundation for becoming productive panthers.

The First Year Experience (FYE) continues and helps to build the 3-way Partnership between the Student, Parents & Family and PVAMU which encompasses administrators, faculty and staff whose common aim is the support and success of the student. Centered around the Common goal of graduation.
