Project summary
The project objective is provide COVID-19 outreach and education activities aimed at increasing the number of fully vaccinated people in Texas.
Target Population – communities of color, Texans with disabilities, rural communities.
Proposed Activities and Outcomes – partnership with communities of color primarily to provide accurate, culturally sensitive information about the COVID vaccine to reduce vaccine hesitancy and increase vaccination rates in the Greater Houston area and Waller County.
Project Significance – Reducing vaccine hesitancy, increasing vaccine rates, decreasing COVID spread, morbidity, and mortality in target populations.
