Bridget Brumfield, RN, MSN is a licensed community and clinical nurse with more than 15 years of experience in nursing and clinic administration. Bridget joined Access Health in November 2015 as Director of Clinical Operations. She enforces a high standard of culturally competent care for Access Health’s diverse patient population. In May 2016, Bridget earned her Master of Science degree in Nursing Administration from Prairie View A&M University where she repeatedly made the Dean’s List. She previously earned two Bachelors of Science degrees, one in Nursing from Prairie View A&M in 2004 and one in Health and Sports Science from The University of Oklahoma in 1997. In 2020, Bridget was promoted to Chief Clinical Officer at Access Health. Bridget currently oversees five clinical sites, risk management, and serves as the Compliance Officer.
During the pandemic, Bridget has been a vital part in the startup of various testing and vaccine sites in both Fort Bend and Waller Counties. Through these efforts more than 64K COVID test and over 100K COVID vaccines were administered in 2021.
Bridget’s professional memberships include the Texas Nurses Association, the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, Central Fort Bend Chamber 2020 Leadership Class, and the National Association of Professional Women.
Bridget is a native Houstonian, who in her spare time enjoys traveling, reading, coloring, attending sporting events, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends. Bridget has a passion for helping other which is why she chose the field of nursing.
