- Have a minimum 2.45 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Have a minimum English proficiency score for applicants who have academic studies from non-native English-speaking countries as follows:
Minimum Scores:
TOEFL score of 550/213/79 or IELTS score of 6.5 or
ELS Language Centers 112 score of or The Language Company Level 9.
- Apply online at www.applytexas.org.
- Pay a non-refundable $50.00 application fee.
- The GRE or GMAT must be taken within the first semester of enrollment.
- Provide official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
- Provide a transcript evaluation from a transcript evaluation service if the transcript is from a foreign institution.
- Provide three letters of recommendation.
- Provide an Affidavit of Financial Support for International Students or a Letter of Sponsorship from the party who will financially support the applicant during the pursuit of the degree.
- Provide a bank statement with at least the minimum amount stated on the Affidavit of Financial Support for International Students dated within six months of first enrollment.
- Upon completion of the application process, successful applicants will be issued an I-20 by the Office of International Student Services.
International students must satisfy the appropriate visa requirements and comply with the rules and regulations of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for the admission of foreign nationals as students under the appropriate visa class.
